Water Restoration Project

We are raising money to create a water management system at Hummingbird Sky Island to replenish our underground aquifers so that the land will be able to provide water for generations to come. We are restoring the natural mini dams that were destroyed by the gold rush in the 1800's with the goal in mind to bring back the flora and fauna that are natural to our location.

The ponds created through this project will also be used as preemptive fire hazard ponds.

We are also designing and implementing ways to prevent forest fires at Hummingbird Sky Island to protect the property and the surrounding areas of the Stanislaus National Forest.
